A seasonal tire change is swapping off your summer wheels for your winter wheels and vice versa. You have a two sets of tires already mounted and balanced on rims. This setup is usually best if you plan on keeping the vehicle more than four years.

When the temperature consistently goes above or below 7°C, its tire the change over your wheels. The rubber compound in your winter tires make it much better for colder weather. Be careful not to keep your winter wheels on too late into summer because they will wear out much faster and affect stopping distance.
